Colex PVC hose and tubes are lightweight and very flexible with a good bend radii. A smooth bore ensures the excellent flow rate of contents. PVC hoses are manufactured from crystal clear compounds to ensure full visibility of the flow of contents. Colex PVC hoses have excellent chemical, corrosion and abrasion resistance. The wide range of operating temperatures suit a variety of industrial applications. All raw materials used have FDA and BGA, UK S.I. No. 1523 and EEC Directive 78/142/EEC approval for use in food contact applications. Colex PVC tube (RP, RPE & CP) is BS softness 43/45. Reinforced PVC is manufactured to comply with BS6066:1981 and ISO5774:1980. PVC hoses are silicone and cadmium free. The raw materials are flame resistant and comply with UL94-VO at 3mm plack. PVC hoses have good UV resistance. PVC is self extinguishing and does not support combustion. Bore and tolerances to BSENISO1307:1996. Colex manufacture reinforced and unreinforced grades of PVC, to suit different applications. Reinforced PVC is reinforced with a high quality, 1000 denier polyester nylon braid, making the hose suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications. Reinforced PVC has excellent pressure carrying capabilities. Reinforced PVC is available in a choice of 6 colours, in most popular sizes, for easy line identification when in use. All Colex PVC hoses are tyre wrapped for ease of storage and to keep the hose dust free before use. Colex PVC hoses are available ex-stock in all sizes. Non standard sizes are available on request. |

Colex Polyurethane (PU) hose and tubing has excellent chemical, corrosion and abrasion resistance. PU hose and tube is manufactured from a clear ether based material which is suitable for a wide range of operating temperatures and is therefore useful for a variety of industrial purposes. There are no plasticisers in Polyurethane hose. Consequently no migration or tube hardening occurs. Polyurethane hose and tubing is highly elastic and lightweight, making it easy to work with. It is very flexible, even at low temperatures, and a good bend radii can be achieved. The smooth bore of Polyurethane ensures an excellent flow of the tube contents. Polyurethane hoses have excellent resistance to petroleum based products. Colex Polyurethane has a good resistance to UV. Polyurethane is silicone and cadmium free. Colex PU and RPU are hydrolysis resistant. Colex manufacture reinforced and unreinforced grades of Polyurethane, to suit different applications. Reinforced PU is reinforced with a high quality 1000 denier polyester nylon braid, making it suitable for a variety of industrial uses. Colex Polyurethane is Shore A 90. Reinforced Polyurethane has excellent pressure carrying capabilities. All Colex Polyurethane hoses are tyre wrapped for ease of storage and to keep the hose dust free before use.
