# For use as a guide only

• Manufactured from a PVC and rubber alloy material, this hose exceeds requirements under BS5118/2.

• Rubber Alloy Airhose has an excellent resistance to kinks and a smooth bore ensures an excellent flow rate.

• Rubber Alloy Airhose has an improved resistance to oil and fuel when compared to the resistance offered by PVC.

• Colex Rubber Alloy Airhose also has excellent resistance to many chemicals, corrosion and abrasion.

• All Colex Rubber Alloy Airhoses are tyre wrapped for ease of storage and to keep the hoses dust free before use.

Printing
Colex Reinforced Rubber Alloy Airhose is printed RA20 BS 5118/2 I.D. size in mm, 16, CX, and with the Colex works order number and date of manufacture. This helps with identification and traceability.

Construction
Colex Reinforced Rubber Alloy Airhose is manufactured from a material that uses elements of both PVC and rubber. This material looks and feels like rubber whilst retaining some of the properties of PVC. It is reinforced with a 2000 denier polyester nylon braid.

Applications
• Compressed Air Systems
• Construction
• Automotive Industry
• Spray Systems
• Factory Air Lines
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics

Pressures**
Values given are based on the short term burst pressure of Rubber Alloy at 20C.
Note: Any increase in temperature above 20C will result in a decline in burst pressures.

Temperatures**
-30C to +60C
Occasional use up to +100C
Cold bend temperature: -45C
Rubber Alloy Airhoses show no cracking at 20C when bent around a mandrel with an OD of twelve times the ID size of the tube.

Chemical Resistance
Rubber Alloy Airhose has a good resistance to most fuels, oils and greases and many other solvents, chemicals and gases.
